About Mentors 4 Kids

Mentors 4 Kids is a non-profit organization that provides mentoring services for children in these Southern Illinois counties: Jefferson, Franklin, Williamson, Saline, Gallatin, and White.

Program History

Mentors 4 Kids, Inc. (M4K) was founded in 2009 through local grassroots efforts to provide community-based mentoring to children of all backgrounds, abilities, and levels of need in southern Illinois. We are the only community-based mentoring organization in most of the counties we serve. Our program strives to achieve successful matches through incorporating evidenced-based practices in screening, training, and on-going support of mentors and mentees.
M4K is an incorporated Illinois non-profit organization and has been granted a public charity status, 501(c)(3) organization by the IRS.
