Vickey joined M4K in December of 2011 as Office Manager in the Benton location. She has a passion for children and feels that every child needs to know they are valued, special and important. She is the mother of two grown children, married for 33 years and has two year old golden retriever siblings. In addition to being a mentor, she enjoys, golf, early morning exercise, reading and crafts.
Amy Coan is the Case Manager at Mentors 4 Kids and started in June 2016. Amy is originally from Franklin County and graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in December 2002 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work. Her career has been centered around children and family with an emphasis on case management and crisis assessment and prevention. She obtained her license in Child Welfare in 2012 and has worked with various organizations in the Southern Illinois community. Through the application process, Amy will use her knowledge to assist in making great matches, maintain communication with mentors and mentees, to ensure the program is as rewarding as possible. Amy is a very proud mother of an incredible young man, Grant and they enjoy spending time together swimming, traveling, and having fun. Amy’s experience as a mother has challenged her career to ensure all children are surrounded with positive, loving, caring individuals who will promote a healthy environment and a successful future.
